Over its first four years, JAFAH has evolved into a more focused organization. It has directed its attention and financial resources on projects that more specifically meet its stated mission. By doing so, JAFAH intends to impact the Jewish community in a more significant manner.
From the beginning, JAFAH’s mission has been to learn from the past, improve the present, and preserve a future for the Jewish people. It pursues these goals through its two main divisions: the Shoah Remembrance Mission and the Jewish Community Project.
Thus far, the two divisions have pursued their defined goals collectively through the production of the feature length documentary, OUT OF FAITH, with the JAFAH subsidiary Eliezer Films. OUT OF FAITH examines the complicated and emotionally charged issues of interfaith marriage and assimilation through the prism of a Holocaust Survivor family struggling to persevere in the face of these challenging issues. With OUT OF FAITH, JAFAH has challenged its viewers to contemplate exactly who we are and where we are headed as a people. The film is currently in distribution, screening across the nation. To learn when the film might be screening near you, please visit the OUT OF FAITH website. To arrange a screening in your community, please feel free to email us.
Thank you for coming and please visit back often to learn about JAFAH’s other new projects.
